STONINGTON – Jessica Gail Sultaire, 29, of Pawcatuck, died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, at Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island where she was lovingly cared for by so many while fighting a courageous four-year battle with ovarian cancer.

The Torrington HS Band has commissioned Connecticut composer Anthony Susi to compose "Golden Heart" in memory of THS Alumni Jessica Sultaire. "Golden Heart" will be premiered by the THS Band in March 2018. The goal is to have "Golden Heart" published so Bands everywhere can play this musical tribute and keep Jessica's story alive. THS Music Alumni Brandon Gibbons and his wife Jackie "The Gibbonses" are a multi-instrumentalist, Americana duo based in Dallas Texas.​  Their latest single "Keep on Keepin On" they asked people from around the country to submiut statements that describe one positive thing they bring to the world to make it a better place for everyone.  THS Choir was accepted into the official music video.  Read more about "The Gibbonses" 

Chris DeLouis will be starting his Doctoral Degree in Saxophone Performace at West Virginia University in the Fall of 2017
